I made some super progress on incredible! tonight. Fixed some bugs but added some improvements. I’ve added the ability to upload photos to Flickr. What’s awesome is that with this, you can upload a photo (or multiple photos!) to Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr all at once! Select your account Group, select your photo(s), type you message, and when you hit the Post button, bam! photo(s) end up on multiple networks like it was nothin’.

Added a bunch boring stuff tonight (like being able to delete stuff), but one thing worth a screenshot is the character counter(s) in the Publisher. See, the Publisher is a universal input for every network, with links, text, photos, and location all in the same box. It’s easy to use and intuitive. However, a big issue is that some networks have character limits and they aren’t the same limit.

Foursquare shouts and Twitter tweets are limited to 140 characters, whereas Facebook statuses are limited to 420 characters (and when Google+ opens their API, it’ll be virtually limitless…). This proves to be a bit troublesome when posting to multiple networks at once. So, I toyed with a few options and this is where I am for now.

Facebook-only post:

And a Twitter-only post:

Simple enough: a counter to show where you are on characters left. But when they have different limits…

I opted to show both counters, and it operates under the assumption that you know Twitter’s limit is 140 characters, so obviously the larger number is for Facebook. I’m thinking of ways to make this more obvious, but for now, I’m hanging with this.

Here’s what it looks like when you’ve gone over the limit on one count:

So, that’s that! BTW, the list of TODOs for incredible! is SO very short right now. It’s soooo close…
